I had spent the whole day preparing for guests to come over, I was with a family member who wanted to run a bunch of errands and we had to be back home by a certain time. While we were out, the errands ended up taking a lot longer than anticipated. At some point the tip of my left pinky finger had been cut off and it hurt and I was extremely upset about it because I thought I was going to lose the tip of my pinky and I ended up having to use a small band aid to try to keep it together. The person I was with wasn’t as concerned about my pinky finger tip as I was and just wanted to get back home. Once I was home, a large flood of water wiped everything out with ocean water. In the huge wave that was coming in, both myself and my friends were swept up by it and I was worried about my pinky finger tip being lost forever and trying to hold on to it but my friends were enjoying the day and treated the large wave as though it was meant to surfed or played in. We met strangers that were planning to go boating and fishing in this large flood
This dream may be reflecting a feeling of being overwhelmed and concerned about time. The preparations for the guests and the delayed errands may symbolize a sense of feeling rushed or having a lot on your plate. The cut-off tip of your left pinky finger may symbolize a feeling of losing something valuable, perhaps a skill or talent that you highly value and are worried about losing. The flood of water wiping everything out may symbolize a feeling of being overwhelmed and powerless, as if something unexpectedly came in and swept away everything that you had built or achieved. The conflicting reactions of your friends could symbolize the varying attitudes people have towards unexpected events or crises - some may choose to remain optimistic and enjoy the moment, while others may become more worried or anxious. Considering all these elements together, this dream may be urging you to take a step back, breathe, and reflect on what you may be feeling overwhelmed or uncertain about, and how you can navigate through these challenges in a more balanced and proactive way.
